Guacamole

This Mexican avocado appetizer has long become a natural part of many countries’ cuisine. Alyona Kolesnik, a cooking enthusiast, baker and a mum has shared with us her own recipe for guacamole. It only takes a couple ingredients and a few minutes to make! A great addition for toast, flat bread or crisp bread.

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados
few sprigs of cilantro
2-3 tbsp. lime or lemon juice
1 garlic clove
salt, freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

Mince cilantro, press the garlic and combine all with salt. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Mesh avocados with a fork until smooth. Add the lime or lemon juice right away to avoid oxidising and darkening of the sauce. Add in other ingredients and mix together.

Serve with flatbread, toast, fresh tomatoes.
